Following their decision in 2009 not to participate in the festival due to financial reasons, Lithuania in 2010 reported that they want to return to the festival. ESCKaz has confirmed today that Lithuania will take part in Junior Eurovision 2010 after obtaining the necessary finance. Until the end of this week, countries can apply for participation. Although Azerbaijan has decided not to enter yet again, there is still the possibility Moldova, and perhaps more countries, will join.
